  Chapter 1

Vice Principal Jones sat behind her desk tapping her foot incessantly. She couldn’t take another moment of waiting. It was already after six PM. She was supposed to have left three hours ago, but she couldn’t. The dean’s Jag was still in the parking lot along with Sara Snow’s tiny red Miata. Sara wasn’t in the guidance counselor’s office and she hadn’t been there for the past hour. Jones knew that Sara and the dean had to be somewhere in the school together.

Sara Snow being hired as McGuire Prep’s guidance counselor was the worst thing that could have happened to Adella Jones. Adella loved her job since the second Dean McGuire had hired her to be the school’s Vice Principal. McGuire Prep was her life. She lived and breathed that school and she would do anything to see it succeed. It was the best and most prestigious school on the west coast and she couldn’t have been prouder to be part of its administration. There was no better school to have on your resume.

She’d fallen in love with the dean in less than a day. There was just something about him. He was over twenty years older than her, but he was extremely handsome and kind. She loved the way he carried himself with an assured confidence. Every night she imagined the two of them being together after the dean professed his love for her. They would begin a torrid love affair that they would hide from everyone. Romances between coworkers was forbidden, but Adella would break the rules just once for Harold McGuire. He was worth it.

She loved Harold so much that she made the ultimate sacrifice—putting up with his idiot of a son, Presley McGuire. Presley was a younger version of his father—at least in the looks department. Other than that, he wasn’t as intelligent or hardworking. He also lacked the integrity of his father. Presley McGuire was a womanizing pig and a self-proclaimed playboy. He was currently in a forbidden relationship of his own with the American History teacher. Adella had even caught them fucking on the counter of the kitchen in the cafeteria with whipped cream and chocolate syrup all over the place. It was the most disgusting display she’d ever seen.

When she’d snitched on Presley to the dean, that was the unfortunate moment she discovered that the dean was himself in a relationship so nothing would be done about Presley and Ms. Fox.

She’d spent years doing Presley’s bulk of the work knowing full well that she deserved to be principal and not him. Presley was only principal because he was the dean’s son. Still, Adella did her job and his without complaint because she knew how important McGuire Prep was to the dean. It was his family’s legacy. His grandfather had opened the school decades before.

“Where would they be? Where would they be?” Jones asked herself. Probably in the dean’s office she figured. She had to think of an excuse to get back there and break up whatever was going on. She didn’t want to picture it.

Jones grabbed a compact from her desk to check herself out in the mirror. Her skin was pale and her straight mousy brown hair reached her shoulders. She never wore makeup because she didn’t see the point. She didn’t come to school to turn heads or impress anyone, she came to do her job. Keeping students and teachers in line did not require her to look like a Victoria’s Secret model. She was hoping the dean would fall in love with that part of her—the part that worked hard and cared about his school—but he never did.

Adella wasn’t stupid. She knew that Sara Snow ran circles around her in the looks department. She was practically perfect. Small and dainty with white blond hair styled into a perfect pixie cut. Her figure was perfect and her sea-blue eyes could light up a room. Adella hated every part of her. She was just like the girls who’d always given her a hard time in high school.

Jones had an idea. She had completed a series of teacher evaluations that week and she needed to discuss the results with the dean. She felt that some of the teaching methods just weren’t up to par with the McGuire Prep standards. In her opinion, some teachers needed to be replaced or at least put on probation.

She entered the receptionist area of the dean’s office. Amber had left hours ago. The door to the dean’s office was closed. Jones heard high-pitched laughter coming from the other side. Whatever was happening she had to break it up immediately. Jones barged through the door without knocking.

The dean sat in his seat behind his desk while Sara was perched on his lap laughing as if he’d just said the funniest thing in the world. When they spotted Jones, she hopped off and stood awkwardly beside the dean smoothing out her skirt.

The dean cleared his throat and Jones a tight smile. He obviously didn’t appreciate their little moment being interrupted. “Ms. Jones, I thought everyone had gone.”

“Well, you should know by now that I’m always the first to arrive and the last one to leave. But I’m actually here working unlike you two. What are you doing?”

Sara wrung her hands. “Oh, we were just talking about things.”

“I bet,” Jones snapped. “Anyway, Dean McGuire, I wanted to discuss the teacher evaluations that I’ve completed so far. You know alone, since I shouldn’t be discussing staff performances with other staff members.”

“Oh,” Sara said quickly. “I’ll leave you two alone then.” She turned toward Dean McGuire and nodded. “I’ll call you later.”

He gave her a wink and a smile that broke Adella’s heart. How she longed for him to look at her that way. Sara hurried toward the door, but Adella stopped her. “Don’t worry, Ms. Snow. I’ll be doing your evaluation tomorrow. Yes, non-instructional staff gets evaluated too. Good luck.”

Sara answered her with a phony smile before leaving, closing the door behind her. The dean folded his arms over his chest. “Ms. Jones, I know that teacher evaluations are very important but can this not wait until tomorrow? I’d like to think about them with a fresh mind.”

Jones straightened her shoulders. She didn’t really feel the need to discuss the issue right then. She’d just wanted to break up whatever they were doing and she had done that. “Fine. We’ll talk about it tomorrow. Good night.”

“Wait,” the dean said. “I get the feeling that’s not why you c
ame back here at all. I think there’s something else that you’re not saying.”

Adella looked at the dean in all his hotness. His slicked back salt and pepper hair. His dimples and well-kept body. She even loved the way the skin in the corner of his eyes crinkled. She would have jumped on him right then and there if she could. Adella wanted to tell him the truth, that she loved him and that he should have been with her and not Sara, but she couldn’t make the words come out.

She backed up toward the door. “No, I don’t have anything more to say.” She hurried from the office before he could see the tears in her eyes.

Back in her office she locked the door and sat behind her desk. An overwhelming urge surged through her body. She couldn’t get her mind off the way the dean’s dress shirts showed off his chest and arms. The way his hair was slightly out of place because of the way Sara Snow had probably run her fingers through it. Adella tried to imagine what was going on underneath his pants. His cock had probably been hard after Sara had sat in his lap and she longed to be the one to make his dick stand at attention.

Before Jones knew what was happening, she’d unbuttoned her slacks and her fingers were finding their way into her cotton panties. Her index finger slid between her lips finding moisture. Next her finger found its way to her hole where she moved it in and out as she shivered with pleasure. She was too afraid to moan for fear one of the custodians would hear her. In and out, in and out. The effort she put forth trying to contain herself gave her even more pleasure. She was even wetter, imagining her finger to be the dean’s cock filling her. After a few minutes, she grasped the desk with her other hand as her orgasm shook her entire body causing her to bounce up and down in her rolling chair.

She removed her finger from her underwear feeling dirty. She had masturbated plenty of times while thinking about the dean, but she’d always been able to wait until she was in the comfort and privacy of her own home.

Sighing, she buttoned her pants. “This place is making me lose my mind.” Jones packed her things up and went home to enjoy the rest of her evening which included more fantasies with Dean McGuire.

Vice Principal Jones called Sara into her office the next day around noon. Sara had tiptoed in quietly, sitting in front of Jones’ desk with a huge smile on her face. Adella rolled her eyes at her phoniness.

Jones hated Sara. In her mind she was a slut. Who dated the father of their ex-boyfriend? Who does that?

Sara cleared her throat. “Um, I know yesterday was pretty awkward. I hope we can just forget—”

“I don’t forget anything,” Jones snapped. “That smile of yours might work on the men around here, but it doesn’t work on me and just in case you were wondering, no, I don’t swing that way.”

Sara sat up in her seat and said nothing. Jones flipped through the file folder on the desk in front of her. “Your evaluation will be done differently than the way I evaluate the other teachers, but there’s a way to do it nonetheless. I’ve been looking through your case files and the notes you leave after seeing students and I’ve come to one conclusion—you’re not doing enough.”

Sara frowned. “What do you mean I’m not doing enough?” She busted her ass for McGuire Prep always going above and beyond and staying much later than she had too.

“You should be seeing more students. Right now there are at least a dozen kids whose parents are going through a divorce. I want you to meet with each of those kids twice a week. There was a fight in the girl’s PE class the other day. We don’t have fights at this school. That’s some public school shit. Parents don’t pay tens of thousands of dollars for their kids to come to school and behave like thugs. I want you to do more anger management and anti-violence assemblies with the students.”

Sara nodded. “Okay . . . there’s only so many hours in the day though.”

“Also,” Jones continued. “I’ve given the students that you’ve seen a survey and the ratings were less than favorable.”

Sara’s jaw dropped and she looked genuinely hurt. Ms. Jones was loving every moment of it. “What do you mean?” Sara asked. “The students seem to like seeing me. I know most of them are really being helped.”

Jones shrugged and tossed a stack of papers across the desk. “See for yourself. Basically they think seeing you is bull shit and a complete waste of time. They only like seeing you because it gets them out of class and you give them cookies.”

Sara grabbed the papers and flipped through them, shaking her head. “Ms. Jones, they’re teenagers. They’re not going to be overly enthusiastic about anything. I don’t think these surveys are that bad.”

Jones narrowed her eyes at Sara. “It doesn’t matter what you think. I’m your administrator. You need to step it up. For now, I’m rating you below satisfactory. I will be evaluating you again in another three weeks and I had better see improvement or other measures will be taken.”

Sara stood up so quickly that she almost tipped her chair over. “What do you mean by that? You’re going to fire me? Do you really think that Presley and Harold are going to go for that?”

This time Adella stood. “Maybe if you would focus more on your job and less on fucking McGuires your job performance would be better.”

Sara stamped her foot. “You can’t speak to be like that. What the hell is your problem?”

“I don’t have a problem but I love this school dearly and every employee who has a hand in it will do the best job possible or they can go work somewhere else. If the families here wanted mediocre, they would send their kids somewhere else. We are the best because we employ the best and I won’t let you or anyone else bring that down.”

Sara huffed and stormed out of the office. She feared that if she’d said anything to Jones it would be something horrible that she couldn’t take back.

  Chapter 2

Presley rolled over and kissed Marcia on her right shoulder. She moaned. “I have a fucking huge stack of papers to grade. I don’t want to. History reports are the worst.”

He kissed her again. “So save them for tomorrow.”

“I can’t. If I do they’ll just pile up.” Marcia was the American History teacher at McGuire Prep. She and Presley had been dating each other exclusively for a few weeks.

“Just give all the kids A’s,” Presley said. “Make a few red marks on each paper so it looks like you’ve read them. Then everyone will be happy.”

Marcia rolled over to face him and slapped him on his chest. “Well aren’t you a beacon for challenging education, Principal McGuire.”

“Come on. We all know everything you’re teaching them they’re going to forget over the summer. What do they need it for anyway? I mean, unless they plan on going on Jeopardy.” Presley chuckled and then reached for his pants at the edge of the bed.

“Very funny. Where are you going?” Marcia asked. “I thought you would stay.”

“I want to stay, but I have some things I need to do.” The truth was Presley needed a little break from Marcia. She was wearing him out sexually and he needed a night off. Being with Marcia was great, but it wasn’t like it was when he was with Sara. They would have amazing sex and then hold each other and talk afterwards, maybe even play games. She was the only one who could get him to open up about things he wouldn’t dare say to anyone else. He never wanted to leave her side.

Sara had been his snow angel, but Marcia was his bombshell. She had long jet black hair set off by bright green eyes. A curvy body that reminded him of why he loved the different shapes of women. Marcia was a sweetheart and Presley could tell she was really falling for him if she hadn’t already, but he couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. Sex was great, but he needed more than that otherwise he would get bored.

As Presley dressed, Marcia wrapped her arms around his torso. “I have a surprise for you this weekend. Something that’s going to be new and fun.”

“Yeah?” Presley asked. “What is it?”

“It’s a surprise, silly,” she said as she nibbled on
his earlobe. His cock throbbed just a bit as her teeth grazed his flesh. “It will be the best night of your life . . . guaranteed.”

Presley grunted. “I’m sure it will be.” He rose and gave her a quick peck on the forehead. “Now, you’d better get those papers graded. Jones is on the war path and she’s not fucking around.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Marcia said as she followed him to the door. “Wait,” she said as they passed through the kitchen. Presley watched her rummage through a drawer and pull out something small and silver.

“Here, take this. I want you to have a key to my place.”

Presley stiffened, staring at the object. He didn’t want to have a key to her place. That was a huge commitment, but he didn’t know how to say that without hurting her feelings. Hurting Marcia was the last thing he wanted to do. He took the key from her and started to place it on his own key ring. “Thank you. This means a lot to me.”

He headed for the door but Marcia stopped him. “Don’t you have something you want to give me?”

No. He didn’t want her to have a key to his place. That was where he went when he needed a break from her. He realized then that Sara had never given him back his extra key from when they were together. “Oh, I’d have to give you a key later. I have to get an extra copy made.”

Marcia kissed him on the cheek and he escaped before she had the chance to do anything else. As he closed the door behind him, he knew he had to make a decision. He either needed to feel more for Marcia outside of a friends-with-benefits sort of relationship or he needed to cut things off completely. Stringing her along was just a cruel thing to do.
